SRTC Challenge

It has been a year since I last posted a card or anything for that matter on my blog.  Just haven't been inspired to be  blogging!   However, I would like to share my card and my blog information with SRTC, so here I am.
I just made this card to enter the Southern Ridge Trading Company challenge.  I bought some chipboard from Karen in Feb. and just opened the package today for the project (butterflies and frame).  I changed my blade to the deep cut for my cricut and cut the objects from the Art Booking cartridge.  Three tries and I was lucky.  Once I figured out that I should cut over the same lines a few times so that the blade cuts through!  Trial and error, but success in the end.  Hope you enjoy my card.  Thanks for looking.

This is a technique that I am really enjoying.  It is very time consuming and takes a lot of patience, but the finished product is amazing, in my opinion.  There are so many variants and patterns that I should keep busy for a very long time!  Here is a card I made today.

CTMH Hostess Rewards Club

In January a few ladies, plus myself, committed to a monthly scrapbooking Hostess Rewards Club.  Our first scrapbooking meeting will be February 9th at 1:00 p.m. at my house.  I am very excited to work together making the 'Frosted' Workshop On The Go.  The Cricut pieces are cut out for the ladies and ready to place on their layouts and for reference I have completed the two, 2-page layouts.  

As we order each month's WOTG supplies, it thrills me to be able to give the Hostess Rewards (Free Product) to some wonderful scrapbookers each month.  When we meet this month we will draw names to determine who the hostess will be each month including February.  

I am confident this will be a fantastic time of sharing, fun, laughs and getting our scrapbook albums completed.

Christmas Decor

Relaxing with the cats.  Love this time of year and the peace it brings when we sit back to enjoy the moment and soak in the atmosphere.  Thanks to a couple of friends, I have a tree up and some of my village pieces.  Enjoy the peace and quiet with me:

It seems that blogger continues to change it's appearance and makes it so called easier to navigate, except for me!  HaHa!
However, here I am to post the Christmas card workshop we did in October and November.  Lots of laughs and a great time was had at the workshops.

Christmas is Coming (87 days from today)

Hi Everyone:  I hope you had an absolutely marvelous summer.  It sure was hot in August and a good thing I didn't have classes at my house because some days were stifling hot with no air conditioning

.  

September is here and almost gone. This month, I went on an Alaskan cruise with family & friends, and attended a weekend scrap retreat.  Now it's cooler weather so it's time to get to busy making cards and layouts for many pictures! 

I have ordered some fantastic supplies to create a Christmas Card Workshop to be held sometime later in October.  I will have to let you know the exact date(s).

  

I am sorry there are no pictures yet because I couldn't order the new paper until this week. As soon as I have created the cards, I will send an email with all the workshop details and a picture of what you will be able to make at my workshop.

Here is a 6 x 6 card and envelope I made last night.  The swans are layered (paper tole).
I am delighted with my new Envelope Punch Board. It is amazing and so easy to use.

June "Tommy" 12-Card Workshop

Sunday, June 23rd at 1:00 p.m. will be the Tommy Card Workshop.  You will make 12 cards, 2 of each design for $25.00.  All supplies and envelopes are included.  Oh, and as always the pieces are cut out for you, so you just have to assemble your cards.

Contact me as soon as possible, not only because the spots fill up quickly but, I will need time to cut the pieces for you.

This will be the last 12-card workshop until the fall, as it gets very hot in my scrap area.  

However, I am planning something special for the New Idea Book reveal, which comes available to order August 1st.  

So, watch for my email in July.

Finding the Missing Pictures

Well, apparently all pictures are stored on Picasa and if you change your settings or delete any photos on there, they will be unavailable to view on Blogger...Yikes... I do not like computer programs, too confusing!

However, I have uploaded a few pictures to see if they will remain on the blog.  If they do, I will take some time to upload the missing pictures.  This chore may take me some time to complete.  Thanks for your patience and viewing my blog.
