Father's Day Card
I originally made this card today to enter the challenge at My Pink Stamper http://www.mypinkstamper.com/2010/05/fathers-day-challenge-and-expression.html . Took awhile to make all those ties, but fun to do. I put a tie and some 'tie tacs' inside the card too.
Thanks for viewing once again and do look at all the other entries. There are some great creations.

I have been invited to submit a boy birthday card to Inlinkz challenge, so this is what I have created. I will give this card to a very special little boy in my life, as he loves trains and his birthday is Monday.

Dry Erase Calendar Board
I was inspired by a dry erase board I saw at splitcoaststampers and just had to try it.
The top band is titled 'remember and important' to write down those things you do not want to forget. The calendar is large enough to write the day #'s and the month goes on the top line. On the right is a grocery list space.
I made the background with bubble wrap and CTMH Re-inkers by dropping the colours on the bubble wrap, folding in half and then putting two pieces of cardstock between and smooshing with hand to cover paper. You can move the paper around to fill in any empty spaces that you want to.
This was fun to make...and I had lots of newspaper under, just in case!
I attached a dry erase marker to the hanger at the back with hemp, so it doesn't get lost. These are from the dollar store and have an eraser on the end.
Cute gift idea.
Background Stamped Card
This was a fun card to make. I wanted to do something creatively different than just stamping a design as a background. The idea came to me to paint a picture with stamps. I wasn't sure how it would turn out, however I am happy with the results. It made me feel very artsy.
For this card I used the following CTMH supplies:
Cardstock - Black and Colonial White
Ink pads - Olive, Desert Sand, Garden Green, Chocolate, Ocean, Topiary, Goldrush, Tulip, Sunny Yellow, Spring Iris, Orange
Stamps - Be Yourself D1349, Childhood Portrait D1373, Many Thanks D1371, Flower Pot D1409 Celebrate D1400
Bitty Sparkles bling for the birds eyes
($ store bling for the flower centers)
The background was completely stamped, then I used my water brush and ink pads to colour in the flowers and pathway. I stamped the girl running and the acorn on the card and then again to cut out and pop up.
See what you do to paint a picture with stamps.

Christmas' Past
Obviously, I am way behind in my scrapbooking, however here is a layout I created using cardstock only. The colours used are Desert Sand, Topiary and Ocean, which is a requirement for the challenge at H2H http://heart2heartchallenges.blogspot.com/this week. The base cardstock for the layout is Colonial White and is background stamped with the Winter Petite Perks stamps in the chosen cardstock colours. Embellishments include bitty sparkles, pearls, natural hemp, Everlasting Stickease, Glitter Rub-Ons from Winter Cheer and Memory Protectors 4x6" from the Miracle Kit. You will note that I haven't written in the journalling spots yet, as I didn't want to publish this part of the layout on the Internet. This was definitely a challenge, but I am happy with the results.

Friendship Card
For this card I used all Close To My Heart materials except for the shaving cream:
Colonial White Cardstock for card base,
Cranberry, Tulip Re-inkers,
Black inkpad,
White cardstock for designs
Shaving cream
For the background, I put about 1 - 1 1/2" shaving cream in a large deepdish pie plate. Dropped the Cranberry and Tulip Re-inkers on shaving cream and swirled them through with a flat knife, like a marble cake! Then I layed the white cardstock piece on top of the shaving cream and pushed down gently, twisted slightly to make a design. I did several pieces and they all come out different and unique. This is messy and you have to lay out your masterpieces to dry before using. Make sure you put lots of paper down so as not to stain your surface with the re-inkers.
When dry, I cut the paper to the size desired, stamped the Childhood Portrait stamps with the black inkpad, adhered to the card base, which I smudge inked the edges of with the black inkpad and sponge and here you have it.
Oh yes, the heart is stamped, then second and third generation stamped.
