Why is it such a challenge to get a really good picture? Anyway, this is my entry for the Heart2Heart challenge this week, using their sketch. It just happens to be my son's 28th birthday on Monday, so this was good timing to make something especially for him. So, shhhhhh...don't tell him the picture is on my blog!
I used all Close to My Heart products. I love CTMH...So, here is the list:
Cardstock: White Daisy (base) and Colonial White for the cupcakes
B & T Paper: Cherry-O Bulk Paper
Inkpads: Goldrush, Garnet, Black, Sweet Leaf, Tulip and Chocolate
Acrylix Stamps: Celebrate, Made with Love, Bowl of Cherries, A Little Everything, Piece of Cake
Create a Shade Pearl Paint
Liquid Glass
I burnt (sponged) the edges of the card inside and out using Goldrush, Garnet and Black inkpads
The cupcake icing is Pearl Paint
And I just love Liquid Glass on poka dots, so the B & T's are embellished with Liquid Glass dots
Tulip, Green Leaf and Chocolate for the Cherries
This was a fun card to make and I hope my son appreciates the time and love spent on it.
I hope you enjoy it too and will leave me a luv comment. Thank you for stopping by.
Thanks H2H for all the great challenges.
I'm sure the card is even better in person, but it looks great here!
