CTMH New Idea Book

Recent Cards for Special People

This Teapot card I made for my special English friend who was undergoing treatment for facial skin cancer.  I put a real tea bag inside and suggested she enjoy and take a break while she gets well.

This card I made for my daughter and son-in-law along with an accordion album of their pets, as they had to put down the three 18-year old cats in the past year.  They are actual photos of their cats, cut out. 

This card I made for my special grandson.

This is the card I made for my daughter and son-in-law for a baby shower for them.  I made the handle out of wire twisted and attached it with a glued on button.

This is the Father's Day card I made for my son-in-law who is the new daddy (above) for being such a great Dad to my wonderful granddaughter.

A very long time.....

It has been ages since I have been on my own blog, not to mention anyone else's.  I have been very busy and now have a new Grandbaby to scrapbook.  She is wonderful and beautiful and I just can't get enough!  Babies are precious miracles.  The following is the Close To My Heart Mix and Mingle book I put together while waiting for Claire to arrive!

Claire Nicole arrived on May 22nd and weighed in at 7 lb. 7 oz...She is gorgeous!

Valentine Card - CTMH

This is a Valentine card I whipped up to enter on the Close To My Heart Facebook Page.  Two consultants were randomly picked to win the Bohemian Alphabet Stamp Set.  It was fun to do and had we had to use something out of the Inspirations Brochure.  I used two stamp sets from the brochure, tulip and white daisy cardstock along with tulip and ponderosa pine ink pads.

Cole's Album

Another slideshow!  This one of an album I made for a friend to give her grandson for Christmas 2010.  What fun I had creating the pages and fitting the pictures on them.  I am sure everyone enjoyed the flip flaps and hidden spaces, as well as the shaker pumpkin in a pocket.

I am back!  It seems like forever since I have been here. 
I have created an All Occasion Workshop for Jan. 31st. from 6:00 - 9 p.m.  You will create 12 unique cards for $20.00 (2 each of 6 designs).  All materials are supplied including envelopes.  If you are interested, please contact me at jojay@shaw.ca and I will give you further information and directions.

Christmas Present

Well, today I bought two paper racks, yea!  I cannot wait to put the paper in the racks.  It will make choosing colours so much easier being able to see them together, but separate.  Yea!  Not sure yet where they will fit, but I will find space.  Good deal..so a Christmas present to me, from me...

Advent Calendars for 2010

As promised, here are the pictures of the Advent Calendars.  They are fun to make and each one is embellished differently.  Thanks to SVG and Mary for the pattern to cut the boxes and doors on my Cricut.  I used all Close To My Heart papers and some embellishments.  I had as much fun making them as the children will opening a door each day.

I made one more, however I gave it away before photographing it...lol

Scrapbooking

If you have a wish list, give it to someone (husband, brother, sister, friend, etc.) with my email address and we will surprise you for Christmas!  Choose a Workshop On The Go, pages 24 and 25, and I will be happy to help you complete your layouts and cards.

Open Crop nights are Thursday from 6 - 9:00 p.m. and I am available for appointments that fit your schedule.  As CTMH says, "Let me show you how".
